What is a phone mockup?
A phone mockup places your screenshot or photo inside a realistic phone frame, so it looks like it's running on a real device. Designers, developers and marketers use them for app store screenshots, landing pages, portfolios, presentations and social posts.
Which phones can I use?
Right now the generator uses a photorealistic iPhone 17 Pro Max — in natural or black titanium, shown from five angles. We're adding more phones, with dedicated pages for popular models, so you'll be able to pick the exact device that fits your project.
Is it free, and do I need an account?
It's free and works without an account — everything runs in your browser. If you make a lot of mockups, Pro lifts the daily limit and removes ads.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Your screenshot is composited locally in your browser, so it never leaves your device. That keeps it fast and keeps unreleased designs private.
What size image should I use?
A portrait screenshot taken on the phone works best — the tool shows the recommended size for the selected device. Anything else is automatically centre-cropped to fit the screen, so it's fine if your image isn't exact.
What can I download, and in which format?
Export a high-resolution image as PNG (with a transparent background), JPG or WebP — ready to drop straight into your designs, store listings or slides. You can also turn the shadow and camera cutout on or off.
