When working in Adobe Photoshop, it's not uncommon to resize your images. This is actually what many people exclusively use Photoshop for. Fortunately, its really simple to do!
Note: When changing the image size, the canvas will also adjust to the same dimensions. If you just want to change the size of your canvas and not your content layers or image, follow this guide.
Here's how to do it:
- Open your Photoshop project file
- From the top menu, select File > Image > Image Size
- From the Image Size popup window, enter your new image Width and Height, and choose the appropriate measurement units
- Click the OK button
